Our Focus

Unlike other courses, The Wellspring Review is a customized, live instruction course taught by Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisors, who are co-owners and active in the field. As such, these trainings are updated monthly to reflect current trends in the classroom, professional associations, legislation, and clinical practice.

 

Suzanne Davis-Thomas, MA, LPC-Supervisor, is a nationally certified, Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in Texas with experience in pregnancy and postpartum related mood disorders, adolescent females, and sexual trauma. She is currently co-owner of Wellspring Therapy Associates, PLLC, is the owner of her private practice, is an adjunct instructor with San Antonio College, as well as a doctoral candidate at St. Mary's University. She co-developed several nationally acclaimed teaching workshops including: A Postpartum Depression Primer; How To Start Your Own Private Practice; and Texas LPC Supervisor Training Curriculum and Certification Courses. Ms. Davis-Thomas assisted in the revision of the current Wellspring Review text, including author of the Group Counseling chapter.


Sue Clifford, PhD, LPC-Supervisor, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in Texas with experience in perinatal and postpartum related mood disorders, maternal mental health, women's issues, and women in life transition. She is currently co-owner of Wellspring Therapy Associates, PLLC, is the owner of a full time private practice, as well as an adjunct instructor for the Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral program at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She co-developed several nationally acclaimed teaching workshops and texts including: A Postpartum Depression Primer; How To Start Your Own Private Practice; and Texas LPC Supervisor Training Curriculum and Certification Courses. Dr. Clifford assisted in the revision of the current Wellspring Review text, including author of the Counselor Ethics chapter.
